RANDY BRYANT: I've been doing personal injury work since 1999. I started out on the defense side. I did that for about three years and then I switched over to the plaintiff side. Now I represent the person who's injured.
One of the benefits of having been an insurance defense lawyer and how it helps me in my plaintiff's practice is I've been on the other side. If you haven't done that, you have to imagine what the other side's doing. You always want to do that, but it helps a lot if you've actually been there. You've worked with the insurance adjusters. You know what makes the insurance adjuster worry. You know what makes them settle a case. You know what makes them write a check.
My goal is to take as much off my client's shoulders as possible, to shoulder the burden for them. They have enough worrying about, you know they were hurt. They got to go get better. I'll worry about the case. I'll worry about gathering the evidence, taking the photographs. I'll get you to trial. I'll get you the compensation that you deserve.
